I saw a tiktok where someone started a mower with a cordless drill turning the big bolt on the fan. It works and I hole-sawed the fan shroud on my tiller so I can do it with the cover on. It's amazing. The only pull rope I have left is on my chainsaw and I wish it was electric start. :)

Chainsaws can be a pain in the rear. I always thought the perfect deal would be a decent portable generator and good heavy duty electric chainsaw.. Less weight and messing with the engine.

I talked to a tree trimmer that uses a cordless electric saw for limbing and topping. He swears by it. I was shocked by that, but apparently the 40 Volt Lithium jobs are no joke.

My Dad owned a garage when I was very young. He had an old manual Brake riveter that stood on a stand bolted to the floor.

He also had a 1/3-1/2 hp electric motor mounted to the roveter and kept a long belt to start lawnmowers and garden tractors. In those days there were no recoil starters.
