How would you /diy make these? Just a bazillion brads driven through a curved bit of wood?

While you can make decent viking-style wool combs with nails/brads, actual carding combs are much harder to make work properly.

The usual route for people wanting to make their own is to buy carding cloth from a supplier and attach it to their own handles.
