Homemade anvil dolly adapted from a length of railroad track. Flat upper surface was achieved by utilizing hardfacing rods to add material prior to grinding. A Rockwell hardness of 55-60 was achieved.

I picture this as being a lot of work.  Certainly worth the effort!
