Nice I have a P&C 18 Volt just ordered 2 batteries from China/ when canceled they still shipped, after they said okay . I did get my money back ,but not until after 10 emails and calls to my home to drop a Claim on Amazon, I seen it was China after no tax was charged . so wanted get USA ones . now going go this way instead, Since I can actually pick out a grade and discharge type of cell I want for the battery, Use to make up packs in a Hobby store I owned . great work nice written I try to always buy USA when I can

Allied Electronics comes to mind; as supplier for re-chargeable cells in various size and composition . There are many. Just select size and quantity to produce as designed voltage. I repaired a Welch-Allyn ophthalmic scope by this very method. Used tinned steel for common bridge. $16USD and ~30 minutes labor instead of $66USD.

Hi...! Wish to know if there is any chance to do some similar thing with Versapack batteries from B&D.

Who knew? I didn't even imagine these were replaceable. Thanks.

This is certainly a good way of prolonging the usefulness of a cordless tool. All too often, it's their batteries that give up first.
