Homemade PVC Vise Adaptor

DESCRIPTION:
Homemade adaptor allowing PVC pipe to be more securely clamped in a vise. Fabricated from PVC pipe, which is cut, heated, and formed in place to the vise.

I was fine till I read that if it catches fire the PVC doesn't need oxygen to burn and you can't put the fire out.  Maybe I'll work with aluminum.
