Congratulations Doug on achieving ten Tool of the Week awards. You have so many custom designed tools using your toolmaker skills and always so willing to show, discuss and answer questions. Everyone has benefited from your work and designs. I am inspired by this high level of crafsmanship and attention to functional details. Thank you, Paul

Doug, tremendous tool there. Looking at the stylus: have you got any special notes on this ie is it hardened and polished? I have trouble with mine getting the flutes to slide smoothly over the stylus....

    Thanks Aphilipmarcou
yes the stylus is made from O-1 steel that has been hardened and polished, try adjusting the stylus just inside the flute, to close to the edge of the flute and you will feel the burrs from the cutting edge on the stylus, I always use a small round stone to deburr the end mill first
