I know and feel your sawing problem. In smaller piece I have clamped a pair of Visegrip clamps on the piece being cut off. I can help to steady the clamp with your hand. The mass of the clamp dampened the vibration thre leads to pinching and blade breakage. Sometime I put a clamp on the part in the vise if there is room.
