Homemade Speed Reducer

DESCRIPTION:
Homemade speed reducer intended to increase torque and ventilation whilst using low lathe speeds. The motor was removed from its mountings and remounted on new brackets. Layshaft assembly installed and running on two 608ZZ bearings. The 35-tooth T5 pulley connected to the 16-tooth T5 pulley on the motor shaft yields a 2.2 speed reduction ratio.
