    “Toolmaker's Chair” Do you know what it is ?

    magnetic single edge finder “Toolmaker's Chair”
    Do you know what it is ?
    Conveniently attaches itself to workpiece with built-in permanent magnet.
    Precision wire cut, allows workpieces to be indicated within accuracy of ±.0001".
    If hole or slot is indicated to centerline of spindle, the edge of workpiece will automatically be on center line.
    Avoids calculation errors by eliminating additions or subtractions.
    Slotted model to pick up single edges

    Nice! You wouldn't happen to have the solid works file for posting.

    By the way was the chair accurate to a tenth out of the EDM or did you have to lap it in? I ask because I've seen other videos for similar chairs and wonder how they went about getting the critical surfaces done.

    thank you for your reply
    I am attaching a link for all the solid works files (in Link)
    it was to one tenth before sandblasting (I did not have glass)
    off hand i don't remember a the accuracy but its way more then 1 tenth
    depending on the (E-pack) and number of passes
    a mirror finish is also possible
    let me know if the link does not work
