I mounted my Parrot vise on an oak plank, and sank 1/4x20 threaded inserts into my benchtop so that I could mount it dead center when using it, and wherever there's room when I'm not. With a microscopic workshop, I can't leave it mounted.

Is there a thread on HMT on microscopic workshops? Who’s got the smallest? I viewed this post because I was also curious about the epoxy casting, which must relate to something else.
