Hi Tony
The carburettor is an AMAC single jet type fitted from 1914 to 1920. A very basic device which took a lot of research to understand it. The numbered ring at the top is an air control adjustment which can be altered by lifting the knurled ring and rotated to the next peg inside, there is no throttle stop other than the cable setting. The knurled ring turned black during the plating as I did not realise it was aluminium.
