    I had a 71 Opel Gt with MANUAL rollover headlights, operated by a lever on the transmission tunnel in front of the gear stick, connected to a shaft/cable that actuated the bar between the headlights. Built in switch(s) turned them on when the came up...way cool, in the day...cheers
