The Red one has the K1200 engine, the White one has a K1100 engine with black/silver ribbed cam cover, an engine I know quite well. The K1200 clutch wasn't too good in just a bike, the added weight won't do it any favours, the K1100 clutch had soft splines as the gearbox input shaft hardening wasn't hard enough, so to stop the shaft splines failing they changed the clutch spec, a slightly modified beetle disc works just fine with a modified pressure plate, and having a sprung core doesn't suffer from spline issues like the rigid standard plate.
