750+ HP outboard motors

I didn't build these I just made up the hydraulic lines and routed the plumbing, and controls.
The outboard units were made to maneuver a work barge used during the construction or possibly reconstruction of 1 of the bridges over the Houston ship channel
they have 12V92 Detroit diesel engines powering an Abex- Denison piston pump the pod was the actual hydraulic motor powering the 6 ft diameter prop. the pod could rotate a full 360 °


the picture was also in my computer background as are many other jobs some of which I did all of the designing and much of the fabrication and assembling others I contracted to do specialty repairs
