I have a similar scenario. My hands have a mind of their own. They insist on putting things down without telling me where they put them. When I find the item they have their fun again and move them somewhere else.

Unfortunately I'm not that clever. That one is an internet legend.

Of course this meme also extends to Amazon: 30-piece 10mm socket shop pack

That link is FUNNY. You HAVE to follow the link and read some of the "reviews".

Did, and clicked on the banner advertisements under the reviews. Clicked to the next screen, found a gallon jug of blinker fluid...

Oh man I need one of those. I wish Craftsman would make one so I would always have a matched set. A guy on here (Just1GuyMetalworks) bought a bag them recently at a swap meet.

Hate to say it, guys, but I saw it fall off and go under the motorcycle. But I have found, over the years, at least eight 10mm sockets. So I believe it CAN happen!

Hey Bill, I assure you there were no camera tricks, this was recorded as it happened. The full video is also on Youtube, taking the bike apart. I am not that good of an actor, lol. Watch the slow mo at the end, it never makes it past the carbs.

Without knowing your whereabouts, it's likely that area is a portal expressly for 10mm sockets, and converge at will.
