That bridge didn't take much to collapse, may have saved a few lives here!

The bridge looked like it was already on its way down - leaning against the flow, but each pylon was at a different angle. No deck either.

not to mention the wash out on the down stream side - you can see the drop away just past the pylons - probably find the foundations were no existent on the downstream side.
