    Air system water trap

Finally getting tired of having to drag hoses all over the shop for air and then on top of that only having only a single outlet for a source of air meant only 1 person could use the air at a time as well, or we had to run 1 of the smaller compressors along with my larger shop compressor I assembled
    Air compressor build in progress

I will eventually have 1 1/4" sch 80 pipe throughout the shop each drop will have between 1 and 6 Milton quick connects and ball valves to shut them off when not in use additionally each drop will have a similar water trap/ volume tank to this one Some will be larger and some smaller

the system air will be delivered to the trap via the long 1" pipe then have to pass by the baffle that is about in the middle. the outgoing air will exit from the second 1" pipe which only extends about 4 inches into the reservoir This particular one adds about 3.5 gal. of air volume to the system
There is a 1" nut welded top and bottom for mounting
This is the bottom before a drain hole was drilled and tapped in place the plate is 1/2" thick
