That's a masterclass on how to obtain $1M/minute in damage on a B737-800 aircraft while being moved from the overnight maintenance hangar to the gate. If the aircraft skin near the Air Data System's "Static Ports" were affected, the cost to repair will rise exponentially.
The Tug operator made too sharp a turn then put on his brakes(!). With apparently no fellow mechanic in the cockpit to "ride the brakes" this left the Nose Gear in a position to arrest all momentum built up by the 45 ton aircraft, which immediately snapped the tow-bar's 3" diameter "shear pin," as if it were a popsicle stick. The Tug Operator, who was trapped and pinned inside the cab under the aircraft, was miraculously uninjured, no doubt courtesy of quick reflexes and an above average flexibility.
