ok... I gotta hand it to the Russian Dude...

That's clever as shyt... It is a very cheap Bench grinder, and you repurpose a unit, that is not used very often, unless you're a machinist or a steel working working on a hull

Very clever indeed. All is needed is a additional bracket, with a pivot point, and you have a mini benchtop cut-off saw...

...... nice addition with the cut off plate, I would have probably secured it to the bar, with screws from underneath. Some 1.5" long screws, with large wing nut heads, or nice ones with large handle knobs...would suffice.
