Hello,
For a project I am working on, I need to be able to sand wood in narrow grooves. This is impossible by hand, which is why I came up with this solution. Hopefully this will help you if you have a similar problem.

there is only 2 things that causes me concern one is the diameter of the disk is far too large for thst sixed rt angle grinder and 2nd would be the ultra high RPMs the grinder runs at while having an oversized disk mounted to it.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

It's a common oversight here Frank that things which spin at 12,000 rpm aren't given any evaluation of the significant effects of rotational dynamics. Seemingly strong things explosively fly apart when spun fast and unbalanced.
For instance a 5" diameter by 1/2" thick balanced birch plywood disc rotating at 12,000 rpm has a total force of greater than 3500 Newtons acting on it. That's a lot.
I wouldn't stand within 25' of that thing in motion.

If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.
