Another air bag jack, but improved!

Seen a few air bag jacks around the net and on you tube. The problem is stability. I played around with a simple setup and it was fine for one corner of my truck (12,500 pound truck), but when I wanted to raise one end It liked to lean over. Here is what I came up with to make it stable and it worked great..

I picked up a couple of air bags like that for $25 I made a lift for my tall offroad baja bug and works great. I did not put the hinges on but mounted it on my car roller that you put under the tires. and releases easy. I find if I fill the bag full they are rigid.

Seen yours, looks great! I just wanted some stability at a lower height also. The hinges in a triangle keep it stable in all directions.

Yours is far superior and more practical, I use it in place of the car lift and the long reach jack I have and it serves the purpose along with being lighter and easier to move a round

Very neat! I don't have a need for an air jack like that but I commend the great idea, design, and the resourcefulness! You must have a great scrap pile too, plate scrap like that is hard to find around here.

Air bag jacks are nice, but as you said, leave something to be desired in the stability department. I like you build, and it makes me reconsider building one.
