Another dead simple lathe tool height gauge

The only concern I would have with this design is the possibility that the blade might slip in the frame due to a drop or rough handling. I would use a pair of pliers to thoroughly torque down the screw that locks the blade position.

No argument there, but I have a carpeted workshop floor to give dropped things an easy landing.
