What was the Umpire's ruling on that pitch? I have forgotten.
IF the ball went through the bird it would be a hole in one?
In aviation the slower and less maneuverable has the right of way so bird slower but ball not maneuverable at that point.... Was the NTSB called to investigate?
Was the ball a natural born killer or was the bird suicidal? Those who knew the bird said he was a nice guy but was quiet and kept to himself. No note was ever found.
Was Johnson ever questioned by the FBI or have his bank records seized and searched for large unexplained deposits?
Was there possibly another pitcher involved, say behind a nearby grassy knoll?
