    He's lucky someone had the forethought to have the safety bars properly adjusted. not everyone does and many benches don't even have them

    Nah, pretty much everyone playing with that kind of weigh in a professional gym now a days has them.

    Shows how little I know about gyms. The only gym I've ever been in was a Goulds looking for one of my drivers who was supposed to be on the road not goofing off in a pretty boy palace, if he felt he wasn't getting enough exercise in his job he could have lumped his own loads instead of hiring it out.
    BTW I didn't notice any of the safety bars on the bench he was using but his coach or spotter of whatever those guys are called looked like he had scored a few too many steroids
