I like how the secondary die follows the bend radius. So many mandrel bending machines merely the clamping die and a fixed die that the material has to be pulled through. By having it travel with the blank as it is rolled around the radius die it reduces wear on the die does not risk scoring the outside of the blank. leaving only the spoon bill ball mandrel to receive any wear.
