I really wish people wouldn't call bicyclist bikers but that is just me. His first mistake was to show fear upon approaching the pack. The 2 things that will setr a dog or a pack of dogs off faster than anything else is Fear and aggression in that order

I'm sorry but if that many dogs all coming at you at once, there is going to be FEAR, unless you are carrying a 9mm with you!

Agree cyclists are not bikers, equally some motorcyclists are not bikers either, unfortunately here in the UK the press use the term bikers for any group they don't like on PTW's, probably as they like most press and governments hate our independent mind set and use any and every opportunity to smear us.

They were all good dogs. Each one wagging their tails. Dogs talk to visitors, but people just do not understand their language. The cycler was an arrogant idiot.

Idiot yes, but a wagging tail isn't always a reliable sign though it did look like the dogs weren't unfriendly just curious about the human with the odd shaped/hidden head. When riding my motorcycle if I come across a nervous horse (usually it's the rider of said horse that is causing the problem) I switch off the engine and remove my helmet whilst talking to the horse (and rider), once the horse can see and hear you they usually settle down.

That was a bunch of cute little puppies! There were no aggressive signs. If he'd kept his head and not started screaming at them they'd have trotted along with him and then gone back home. The moron on the bike who will likely only ride through one time in his life expects the land owner, whose family has probably been there for over one hundred years, to change everything for him. Unfortunately lots of cops in general all over the world exhibit that kind of arrogance. It gives cops a bad name.
