I like how you have married a Standard Pallet Jack and the shop crane concept. I would like to add two suggestions . Add a pulley system depending up on the expected load weights to reduce the effort required to lift a weight, a heavy weight on a standard winch can be awkward when the weight is increased.
The addition of hold down bolts to secure the crane mechanism on to the Pallet Jack. Dave
