    I would think they would put a chip breaker on a cutter for a job like that. Be a lot easier to handle the waste.

    When I worked in the toolroom and anybody had stringers like that and didn't do something to prevent them would have been very likely given a good talking to and showed or at least suggested how to prevent them. Can you imagine a chuck jaw grabbing on to one of those stringers! I a few minutes you would be having a catastrophe in the making.
