This 48' steel trawler, built by Conall on ConallsBoatBuild.Blogspot.com is not only one of the biggest boats we've seen, but also one of the biggest boat building blogs.

Conall started out his blog in 2009, after five years of working on the boat, and continues the job for another six years, documenting every step of the way with hundreds of photos and blog entries.

This giant boat is powered by a Deere 6.8L diesel, and runs a 10KW generator. The countless and impressive custom touches are too great to list here, but of course some homemade tools are built along the way.

The boat is so huge, that as he finishes building it, I thought he was going to start loading it up with two of every kind of animal!
