Brass head hammer
And here is a little brass head hammer.
It is rather small, it is designed for little, well controlled taps, like for setting up a plane, or for the luthier work, for unlocking a nut for instance, or any other delicate tap.

The handle is from ash, 25 cm long.

The head weighs 125g. The shape is liberally inspired from the Lie Nielsen brass hammer.

this side of the head is mostly to be used for setting up little planes, for locking the wedge.

Great job. It looks too nice to hit anything with.

Very nice, Christophe. You can't hide the craftsman in you even if you wanted to.
