I've been aware of Ludemann for awhile (nice stuff). In a similar vein, this shop is scratch-building a replica of the venerable Porsche 917: Icon Engineering - Replica 917, 917RSK, Design, Engineering and Manufacture or Retro Sports Cars.

I could talk about go-fast stuff all day long. Feel free to write me directly anytime to chat.

Congratulations Brendon! Oh My! 917! My favorite all time...used to sketch them in class when bored!

The 917 always makes me think of Mark Donohue. I was a huge fan and just re-read his book The Unfair Advantage. If you haven't read it yet, consider it highly recommended.

Brendon, both the plane and scribing tool are beautiful! Where can I find the plans to make them? Thanks for sharing.

I really like the brass inlay on the face, that tool should last forever. Inspiring ideas.

Hi Brandon! First off, beautiful workmanship! I'm assuming the tool in the picture is not in the state you would use it? I noticed the end of the blade sticking out of the holder. Do you have plans to "clip" those before use? I wouldn't want you to cut yourself on the part sticking out.
