Cam lock furniture. Not exactly certain how practical this is, but the internet rarely cares about stuff like that. Not sure why the lever is threaded either.

As far as practical applications go this would have to be up to the eye of the designer to create. As far as the threaded leaver to me a simple drilled hole would have been sufficient.

Frank suggests a "simple drilled hole." But the internet would show the lever falling out (at the time he started to unscrew it) and would have given a red x and a finger wag.
