Carbide Insert File Guide

I wouldn't think the files would hold up after rubbing them against carbide. How's that working out?

Over time the carbide will wear your files much faster, but that's part of the game if you want square shoulders. These can also be used in combination with a flat platen on a belt grinder which is my preferred method.
