Carriage Lock for the Harbor Freight 7x12 Mini-Lathe

Continuing on the lathe tools trend, this isn't so much a 'tool' as it is a 'feature', but let's go with it!

It wasn't too bad, but I noticed on some operations the carriage was pushed out of place, so to fix that I made a carriage lock. Some of the Chinese mini-lathes are simple, you just drill a hole through a part of the carriage, but mine the thing is shaped like an H, so I had to make things to fill the gaps!
