    I am curious how those guys are so clean using that black foundry sand. It looks like petrobond sand. It gets really black really quickly when the hot metal burns the oil bonding the sand together.

    Greensand (not the color, think green, as in green wood with moisture in it) is much cleaner but still gets dirty after repeated use. Looks like their sand is getting used A LOT!!!!
