    Clamping to the tool post for milling on my lathe

    Within the past week I have found myself using my lathe as a mill twice now,
    Which has started me thinking I might really want to consider making an attachment with a vice and Z axis movement for the lathe eventually
    But today I just used a C clamp and a tool shank for height to hold the quill nut I made

    To set the height after the first slot was cut, I used a piece of banding material and placed the slot in the bottom position on the tool shank
