    When I viewed this a few weeks ago on youtube, I thought it very clever to make a pallet with the X and Y axis duplicated so it was just a bolt on mechanism, along with the spindle encoder. I never thought of solving the problem this way.
    This thing really shines when making metric threads on an imperial lathe or vise versa.
