I do not do fancy woodworking. More of a wood butcher to be more precise, but I was interested in the references, and found these:

    https://ia800109.us.archive.org/29/i...e11896moxo.pdf

    https://ia600905.us.archive.org/26/i...01812_text.pdf

    https://ia800200.us.archive.org/5/it...base00burt.pdf

Might be of use to folks who are looking for techniques to reproduce older pieces.

And I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to paste those to the video. I'll throw you a credit. Thank you for that! I've downloaded them all but didn't save the links.

I don't mind at all! Happy to have helped! I realized that I'd forgotten to thank you for the video, and came back to do that. I like sharing information. Even when I'm probably not going to be able to use some if it, myself. I find metal working more forgiving. "Measure twice, cut once, weld, repeat!" It's kind of hard to weld wood!

Haha, welding wood is tricky. You’d need a board stretcher instead!

Added and credited you. Thanks for taking the time to do that, that saved me a lot of digging (a second time!)

I had a pretty good idea of where to look. I've been scrounging workshop books, mostly metal related, but also wood, for much of the past 15 years, and many of them come from archive.org.

Googled for board stretchers no-end...must be a supply chain issue.
However, the alternative is readily available.

There's no reference yet for a sawdust sorter.

Already knew it didn't work for me. I need MAJOR help in that area. Probably needed the sawdust sorter.
