Concrete bag lift fail - GIF

Concrete bag lift fail. Working contraption + showoff = fail.

Some how they missed the riggers class about jib needs to extend beyond farthest protrusion. End of GIF shows his disbelief. He weighs enough but either too short a ladder or street level too high. And his single sheave's no mechanical advantage other than change of direction.
Some how they missed the riggers class alright.
Amazes me how many get photos recorded, you know, intended for the boss. Not the surprise ending, no raise for you!

What did they expect? the bag was probably a 35 or 42 Kg bag falling from that height the accumulated energy could have been 5 times the original weight.

Yeah, it seems that "stupidity" is rapidly becoming a popular spectator sport.

...... if you are in doubt, try watching most any "Fail" video on YouTube.
