Cook both sides hot dog skewer.

We've been having cookouts at our place for a long time. Mel Little and I had discussed designing and building a hot dog skewer that would let you grill BOTH sides of the dog. I designed and built three of them last fall and just got the first chance to use them.
Some construction pics. these are made out of 1/4" steel rod. Bent and welded together.

    More pics in next post.

Here is the skewer in use.
Put the dog on the tines and spin into the frame to cook the "first" side.

When the first side is done, spin it outside the frame to cook the "second" side.

Both sides of the dog are cooked without having to take it on and off the skewer.
The tines spin around and are detented so they stay in place.
