Exactly so. For myself, I've always found that, if I enjoyed the build process and continue to take satisfaction from using the final product, I couldn't care less what I spent.

Heck, when building airplanes, cars, motorcycles, etc., you pretty much have to value your time at $0/hr. or you'll drive yourself crazy. If I can recoup my actual expenses when it comes to selling time, I consider that I've done well, especially in consideration of the many intangibles. Anything extra is a bonus.
