    Deep throat "C" clamp

Sometimes there is no getting around the need for a reasonably strong very deep throat-ed "C" clamp

I made this one today for a project I needed to complete before tomorrow

I can't relly class this Stainless cutting bar as home made because it is just a salvage piece I found and use for a straight edge or as seen a cutting guide

OK the circle burner attachment is another tool I made awhile back . over the years I bet I've made dozens of these to fit just about every torch imaginable the nice thing about this one is it is light and hardly ever in the way, for normal cutting I just rotate the point up against the torch body out of the way

not wanting to take the time to thread a piece of hollow stock I used a 7/" coupling nut then ran a tap through it after welding to remove the burnt coating

A quick clean up and a piece of all thread and the clamp is ready for use
Later when I go to town I plan to buy some B7 grade threaded rod as regular all thread is too soft for long term use
