I don't mind photos of pretty girls, but they're not the biggest attraction here, and that's for sure. Two thirds of my children are female, and I tried to teach them all that there are only two jobs that are gender-dependent. Bearing children, and fathering them. Everything else is just work, and gender has nothing to do with who does it. I changed diapers and fed my kids, from the day I brought the first one home from the hospital. Bought them their first tools and toolboxes, and tried to teach them as much as I could. I also wash dishes, cook, clean, and do laundry. I can sew on a button, and hem a pair of pants. It won't be pretty, but it will work!![]()
Grandma, who was a newly-wed during the Great Depression, taught all of her nine grandchildren to do lots of basic self-care tasks. I tried to do the same for my kids, and if I ever find out I have grandkids, will try to do the same for them.
