Drawing Compound Angled holes with 3D CAD

I use Alibre PE Computer Aided Design software. Recently I wanted to draw a hole in a cylinder that was at a specified angle from two axes. After much head scratching, I figured out one way to do it. Undoubtedly, there are many other ways to do this same thing.

Although the procedure was developed for Alibre, the logic behind it should apply to any 3D CAD program.

I spent 3 years at technical colledge in drawing class learning how to draw elipses etc in oblique projection ,using a pencil,a ruler and pair of dividers and now...We can simply draw it with a mouse..ha ha .
Sheet metal workers up to the 1970's were taught to do this as part of their trade . Ever noticed the connections of small pipes to larger flues at strange angles in industrial plants? Someone had to figure that out before it was made. A source for the various methods of projection can be found in trade related text books of the 1940's.
