He's pretty talented. My brothers and I used to do this 50 years ago with Dad's 1950 Massey Harris "30" on the smeary cow lot.
This is my grandson on the same tractor, a few years ago.

He is using his rear wheel brakes independently to get the drift started. Front wheel assist and frond weights are helping him to staay upright. Very easy maneuver to get started on slippery surface. Very easy way to kill yourself if a rear wheel catches traction and stops sliding. Tractors are usually bit top heavy and can flip so fast you are upside down and under it before you have a chance to react. The half ROP on that unit will offer limited protection if it flips and the operator is thrown forwards. A tractor without a complete ROP is a killer if rolled.

the big factor about that ROP is it really doesn't help you much if you don't have your seat belt on. When was the last time you say ANYONE with their seat belt on while driving a tractor?

Never owned a tractor that had a seat belt wouldn't wear it if it did if I'm on a tractor that is going over I'm jumping in the opposite direction even if it means a broken leg.
