drop egg laying nest box

I decided it is time to upgrade the next boxes in the hen house. the ones in there are 1 hard to reach into without ducking under the perches 2 if thee is a hen on another nest they seem to get disturbed when we go in there
So I am going to rip out all of the old nest boxes and install this one outside against the chicken house this way the hens have access from inside and I have access from the outside I can check for eggs even if they are no a nest without disturbing them.
the floor of the nest slopes down away from the entrance at a 10° angle. once an egg is laid it will roll away from the nest far enough away that the hens shouldn't be able to get at them. As some of the chickens like to peck at the eggs and eat them or they trample on them and break them when 2 hens are trying to occupy the same nest. The new nesting box will stop all of that foolishness.
