    Looks to be exactly what I need for a plastic shredder I need to build someday so I can prepare to melt down over 200 lbs of drink bottles

    The teeth are not fixed to the shaft must be for rippping cardboard or plastic ( or fingers).

    Not sure how that would be accomplished since the tooth pitch is wound around the drum as a spiral helix from a continuous ribbon

    and the tooth pitch is not welded to the shaft. It would be interesting to learn more. The counter weight is great.
