We have the same shipping from the US to Australia problem with Amazon but often if you contact the vendor on their own site they will happily ship to you by 4th class air mail. You should try that option first.

If an item is sent US Post and there is track and trace on the package it will get to Aus within two or three days then most parcels to me recently have taken around 12 days from Sydney to me - a transport speed of less than 100 miles per day.

Track and trace items from the UK disappear from the system the moment they pass into AusPost's hands and about 30% never arrive.

AusPosts answer every time is contact the shipper. !@#$%

And I will not use Fedex. Because we live 400km from the state capital they hand the parcel over to AusPost for untracked delivery but show the item as delivered on their own web site. And they refuse to reply to where is my package emails.
