Very good job building your end mill sharpener MachineNZ
I watched all 4 of your videos they were very well executed, this fixture will save you a lot of money, I built a fixture to use on my surface grinder few years back and it's saved me quiet a few bucks.

    Great Job Doug

    Hi Doug,
    Thanks....
All whats left to do is find some sort of rigid base for it to sit. That will have to wait as I have other projects I need to complete.

    Regards
    Kevin

Nice, Thank You. I have a problem with grinding the flutes grinding the top reduces the diameter of the end mill seems like you should
grind the face of the flute.

Ralph I can see your way of thinking but grinding the flutes of an end mill is a whole new ball game for the home workshop and even that will reduce the diameter to a lesser degree and would not restore worn out lands. Reduced dia end mills do not affect their main use and can actually be quite useful to machine a slot to a size.
