When I worked in a scrap metal yard we would use the excavator grab to hold a roll of old wire mesh fencing then use it in a similar manner. We also had a truck wheel welded to the top of a 6ft length of 2ft x 1ft RSJ ( I beam), grab the wheel then use it as a scraper.
